Researchers are conducting intensive research in the field of tin sulfide (SnS)-based solar cells due to their excellent semiconductor properties. In this research, the one-dimensional (PC1D) solar cell simulation software was used. A model of a solar cell was designed consisting of three layers: the first layer is the window layer of (TiO2) material, below it is the buffer layer of CdS material, and finally the absorption layer of SnS material. The photovoltaic cell parameters (open-circuit voltage Voc, short-circuit current density Jsc and efficiency η) were evaluated as a function of absorption layer thickness and doping concentration. Simulation results indicate that the optimal thickness of the SnS layer is 2 µm and the doping concentration is 1.53 × 10¹⁷ cm⁻³, achieving a maximum efficiency of 14.87%, a Jsc of 20.93 mA/cm², and (Voc) of 0.809 V, at an operating temperature of 25°C.
